In the third quarter of 2023, the top five film and television apps on the Android platform in Ukraine showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at the data provided by Sensor Tower.

SWEET.TV - TV and movies from VAN Group experienced fluctuations in its metrics. Revenue saw a notable increase, peaking at approximately $33K in mid-September, with a general upward trend from late July. Downloads also showed a significant rise, reaching a high of 26K in the week of August 21. Weekly active users peaked at around 70K at the beginning of September but saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, settling at about 54K.

Kyivstar TV: HD movie, cartoon had a strong quarter in terms of downloads and weekly active users. Downloads peaked at 22K in the week of August 21, while weekly active users reached a high of 90K during the same period. Despite the fluctuations, the app maintained a consistent user base throughout the quarter.

MEGOGO: Live TV & movies from MEGOGO saw impressive revenue growth, peaking at approximately $76K in the last week of September. Downloads were notably high in the week of August 21, reaching 34K. Weekly active users also showed a significant spike, peaking at 149K during the same week, indicating strong user engagement.

Netflix maintained a steady performance with consistent weekly active users around the 100K mark, although there was a slight decline towards the end of the quarter, dropping to approximately 91K. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 7K per week without significant fluctuations.

Rave – Watch Party by Rave Inc. showed stable performance in terms of downloads, peaking at 7.3K in early August. Weekly active users saw a peak of 45K around the same time but experienced a decline towards the end of the quarter, closing at about 38K.
